Fish with the Pros

walleye: Trolling bite, anywhere from a mile and a half SE of Kelleys down to dumping ground off Cedar Point and East from there, has been excellent. Lots of pockets of walleyes in that area. Scorpion Stinger Spoons have been the lure choice and better colors of late have been green/orange combinations. Casters have had luck right out of West Harbor early and late. Once a lot of boats get there, forget it. They call it Short Reef for a reason.

Perch: being caught Northwest of West sister also being caught a little north of crib Reef and 21 foot of water also wear picking up some yellow perch at l can. I was fishing on crib Reef in 21 foot of water using crappie rigs with 3 hooks and emerald shiners we had a six-man crew and we ended up with a hundred sixty one perch and they all were ranging from 10 to 14 inches. They were really beautiful perch. Also I fished Southwest of Put-in-Bay in 29 for the water and caught 131 with a six-man crew and the fish were a little smaller out of the hundred and thirty have of them was 9 to 10 in others were 7 and 8 inch perch, but it was a tough bite so I rode that south west of put in bay out that day.The next day went to crib reef and monster perch there dark green and bright ornge ,double headers felt like a walleye what a blast.
