My wife an I had a very enjoyable trip with Seeing Red Charters. Captain JJ put us on a fish all three days. We caught good numbers and high quality fish. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like to walleye fish on Lake Erie. Also the lodging was nice and confortable.

We were on fish all day and managed to tag out with 36 keeper walleye. Capt. JJ gave us a great experience.

JJ was very knowledgeable and brought to some good spots. Tested out the area and moved on if they weren’t biting. Once we were on the walleyes it was unreal. We will definitely be back and would not use another charter. If you want fish, do not hesitate to use Seeing Red Charters! Thanks again JJ, hopefully we will see you next year.

Captain JJ knows where to find the walleye! Other boats were having little luck and our cooler was full. He was also great helping and teaching my 11 and 14 year old boys about our experience. Highly recommended! Bring water and bug spray! It gets hot!

First time experience with seeing red this past weekend was beyond expectations. Everything paid for was provided as promised. Lodging clean and ready to go for us. Cap JJ had all necessary equipment needed as the fishing "changed up" throughout our stay. Walked away with only one complaint: Not enough beer can holders holders on the boat. That I can live with! We will be back.

I cannot speak highly enough of our morning trip with Captain JJ! We had so much fun! He was a great instructor, captain, and fist mate of all rolls into one! He knew where to put the boat, what the walleyes wanted to bite on, and get us a full limit to bring home! Thank you JJ!!!! We will DEFINITELY be back!

We decided on an impromptu fishing charter after losing a baseball tournament at Cedar point..We were SO lucky that Captain JJ was available to take us out. He was great at finding the fish, helping us fish, and keeping the rods out in the water. What a hard worker! Definitely a nice way to spend our Sunday! My youngest son started getting sick towards the end, and still got back to shore and said he had a great time. Thanks for the awesome experience, we were excited to catch so many fish!

Captain JJ knew his stuff. He put us in a prime position to catch perch and we had a big day. The small mouth bass was an added bonus and pleasant surprise! The Captain has such a passion for fishing and what I believe gives him the edge over the competition. I will be booking another charter in the future!

Capt JJ is one of the best fishing guides I’ve ever fished with. I Took my son and several buddies and he put us on the fish. Great boat, equipment, and customer service. Capt JJ is a genuine nice guy that will help you get the fish and have a great time. Can’t go wrong with Seeing Red Charters- Thanks Capt. JJ

The captain did a great job of putting us on the fish and catching our limit 2 days in a row. The boat was spacious and clean, and the equipment ( poles and reels) was well kept and name brand. The housing that he offered was clean, spacious, and roughly 5 mins from the dock. Awesome experience and would recommend him to anyone who is looking to charter a lake Erie trip.

Family friendly with patience to teach children how to perch fish. Captain JJ helped consistently with bait & removing fish. JJ’s charter delivered what was promised per his website. He was able to get us to sites where we were catching fish, and we reached our catch limit. Our children had a great time. Thanks for a fun family experience

Response from the owner:Thank u so much appreciate it

Captain JJ runs an awesome Lake Erie charter! JJ worked really hard to make sure we had a good time on the water. He is kind and respectful and will take care of whatever your needs are on the water. Captain JJ wants to do everything possible to help you catch your limit. He knows where and how to catch em, and does a good job of showing you how to catch the fish. We will continue to come back to Captain JJ and Seeing Red Charters for years.
