I enjoy fishing so much I make it my life’s work and I want to share the excitement of fishing Lake Erie with you!

Captain JJ has 26+ years running charters. He knows where to go and when...and if he says you got a fish on believe him! We had a great trip, hit our limits, and came back safe. Don't hesitate to book your trip, his schedule fills up fast.

Seeing Red knows how to put you on fish! I got my limit before the sun came up. Our group of 6 Limited out today on Walleye by 9am and yesterday in less than 5 hours. Had a great time and JJ tells some of the funniest jokes I have ever heard. He is a great captain.

Posting a little later than planned, we had went out on Easter Sunday! It was such a blast and a great first experience going out on Lake Erie! Thank you Captain JJ for your time and this experience, we hope to come back in the near future!

1st time out with captain JJ. AWSOME person and captain. Put us on the fish. Gave great tips on how to jig for walleye. All he cared about was us getting fish and having fun. He is a very friendly captain. I will be back with him again. Highly recommend captain JJ.

What an amazing day fishing with Captain JJ aboard Seeing Red Charters!! First time trolling and Capt. JJ was so knowledgeable and was such a great guide teaching the skill of this type of fishing, Loved it! Best trip ever. Capt. JJ is the best and gives you a day of exciting fishing for the memory book. Looking so forward to our charter this year again with Capt. JJ. I’ve been on Lake Erie fishing many times but this I would say is the best trip ever. Captain JJ was the best I’ve seen on this lake. The lodging was very accommodating and clean. On Oct 12 we went fishing in not so great conditions, but he knew exactly where to go. If you want a good time of fishing and especially if you have kids and are trying to make it enjoyable for the kids Captain JJ is your guy. He takes it to heart to be sure the kids enjoy their time on the lake n will teach them some things along the way. My nine year old didn’t even get off the boat that day and was already asking to go back but only on seeing red charters. We will definitely be back next year. Thanks Captain. By the way we caught limit that day, and listening to the radio other boats didn’t do so well.

My wife an I had a very enjoyable trip with Seeing Red Charters. Captain JJ put us on a fish all three days. We caught good numbers and high quality fish. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like to walleye fish on Lake Erie. Also the lodging was nice and confortable.

JJ was very knowledgeable and brought to some good spots. Tested out the area and moved on if they weren’t biting. Once we were on the walleyes it was unreal. We will definitely be back and would not use another charter. If you want fish, do not hesitate to use Seeing Red Charters! Thanks again JJ, hopefully we will see you next year.

Captain JJ knows where to find the walleye! Other boats were having little luck and our cooler was full. He was also great helping and teaching my 11 and 14 year old boys about our experience. Highly recommended! Bring water and bug spray! It gets hot!

First time experience with seeing red this past weekend was beyond expectations. Everything paid for was provided as promised. Lodging clean and ready to go for us. Cap JJ had all necessary equipment needed as the fishing "changed up" throughout our stay. Walked away with only one complaint: Not enough beer can holders holders on the boat.That I can live with! We will be back.

We decided on an impromptu fishing charter after losing a baseball tournament at Cedar point..We were SO lucky that Captain JJ was available to take us out. He was great at finding the fish, helping us fish, and keeping the rods out in the water. What a hard worker! Definitely a nice way to spend our Sunday! My youngest son started getting sick towards the end, and still got back to shore and said he had a great time. Thanks for the awesome experience, we were excited to catch so many fish!
