We had just a few short days to ice fishing the beginning of the season for 2017 on Lake Erie and surrounding areas. Out at East Harbor State Park we had some activity. There were more than dozen ice shanties in the bay. Ice was thick enough to use equipment to move them around on the ice. AS you can see from the pictures I took on Dec. 31, 2017 a sunny but VERY cold day. It was GREAT!
