My wife an I had a very enjoyable trip with Seeing Red Charters. Captain JJ put us on a fish all three days. We caught good numbers and high quality fish. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like to walleye fish on Lake Erie. Also the lodging was nice and confortable.

JJ was very knowledgeable and brought to some good spots. Tested out the area and moved on if they weren’t biting. Once we were on the walleyes it was unreal. We will definitely be back and would not use another charter. If you want fish, do not hesitate to use Seeing Red Charters! Thanks again JJ, hopefully we will see you next year.

Captain JJ knows where to find the walleye! Other boats were having little luck and our cooler was full. He was also great helping and teaching my 11 and 14 year old boys about our experience. Highly recommended! Bring water and bug spray! It gets hot!

First time experience with seeing red this past weekend was beyond expectations. Everything paid for was provided as promised. Lodging clean and ready to go for us. Cap JJ had all necessary equipment needed as the fishing "changed up" throughout our stay. Walked away with only one complaint: Not enough beer can holders holders on the boat.That I can live with! We will be back.

We decided on an impromptu fishing charter after losing a baseball tournament at Cedar point..We were SO lucky that Captain JJ was available to take us out. He was great at finding the fish, helping us fish, and keeping the rods out in the water. What a hard worker! Definitely a nice way to spend our Sunday! My youngest son started getting sick towards the end, and still got back to shore and said he had a great time. Thanks for the awesome experience, we were excited to catch so many fish!

Captain JJ took my family and I out for perch fishing today. Our first trip had to be rescheduled due to rough weather (10-foot waves), but JJ was extremely accommodating and helped us pick another date. We had an absolute blast! Caught plenty of fish. He was very professional, and his boat was spotless. You can tell JJ takes great pride in his business. 3rd generation operation. Highly recommended!

First time on a fishing charter and doing more than just baitcasting, and I'm glad we went with Captain JJ @ Seeing Red Charters. JJ absolutely keeps you on the fish, and keeps you on your toes to keep those lines out catching more. Bring your cooler to bring home a heavy haul of Walleye. JJ's in-depth knowledge and guidance really gave me a better understanding of fishing.The accommodations are clean and stocked. A short drive from the front door to the dock. Kitchen, laundry, shower and two bathrooms are ready for you to walk in and not need a thing. A porch to enjoy the sunset and a family room big enough to tell all the fish stories. Nothing beats catching your limit for the day, taking a shower and even a nap, and get back at the day.There's a couple of local bars that have excellent food for takeout and dine-in as well. I'm already asking our group when the next trip is. We're 100% going with Seeing Red Charters. Thanks for a great weekend Captain JJ!

WHAT A BLAST!Did a three day fishing trip with the guys and it doesn't get better than captain JJ with seeing red. We went out a few miles and he started to set up the stabilizers parachutes to take a bit of the rocking out of the boat. He set the trolling boards, and we trolled with 10 lines in the water at once. After he teaches you the process you run the lines yourself. You call out the lines that hit, you grab the net for your buddies, you reset the rigs to the depth he tells you and get them back in the water. He was able to get us limits of walleye with a few bonus white bass and some perch. We also caught our fair share of sheephead that we don't keep but are fun to bring in.Probably one of, if not the best, fishing trips I've ever been on. I'm a huge fan of a guide who lets me do the work to catch my fish. Do not hesitate to book with captain JJ and seeing red charters.

The captain JJ knows how to find all the great spots and his lodging is really fantastic too.... very clean neat and organized.... And if you want really good luck take some dill pickle flavored sunflower seeds with you.... Don't take my experience for it maybe you should try it out yourself and have a great time

Capt JJ is a true master of his craft. A patient teacher for green fishermen, and he really cares about his clients having a good time. We reached our catch limit every day. Clearly loves his work and I'd absolutely fish with him again.

Captain JJ has 26+ years running charters. He knows where to go and when...and if he says you got a fish on believe him! We had a great trip, hit our limits, and came back safe. Don't hesitate to book your trip, his schedule fills up fast.

Seeing Red knows how to put you on fish! I got my limit before the sun came up. Our group of 6 Limited out today on Walleye by 9am and yesterday in less than 5 hours. Had a great time and JJ tells some of the funniest jokes I have ever heard. He is a great captain.
